Our student-run clinic has been honored to host the Women’s Empowerment Fair, an event dedicated to supporting and celebrating women in our community. The fair has brought together resources, education, and connection opportunities aimed at promoting health, confidence, and empowerment. We are deeply grateful for the chance to organize this initiative and to stand alongside our community in fostering growth and support.

Our mission is to create a supportive space that uplifts women in our community by providing access to resources, education, and opportunities that promote health, confidence, and empowerment.
2019
In light of the changing COVID-19 situation and due to public health and safety measures that were in place during 2020-2021, an in-person event for the Women's Empowerment Night (WEN) did not occur. Instead, the team collaborated with the Calgary Women's Emergency Shelter and Sagesse to identify the needs of the community. On September 20, 2021, the WEN team dropped care packages, worth $1861.48 to the Calgary Women's Emergency Shelter. The care packages included a range of products from shampoo, toothbrushes, and sanitary pads, to grocery cards.

Recent Update
The Women's Empowerment Night is now the Women's Empowerment Fair - a change that was made to facilitate a more inclusive environment for everyone!
