The Student Run Clinic (SRC) is a non-profit organization that works to provide accessible and quality medical care to Calgary’s inner-city population. Currently running at two sites in Calgary, SRC coordinates physicians and medical student volunteers to help deliver primary care services. SRC also runs multiple fundraising and advocacy events throughout the year to reach a larger community.
Who Are We?
The Calgary Student Run Clinic is just that, a student-run clinic!
We are a student-led registered non-profit organization working with local physicians to provide after-hours care for under-served populations.
What We Do
The Calgary SRC is a team of medical students and physicians that provide after-hours care for those in need. Some of the services we provide include:
Wellness Workshops (YWCA)
Find a Family Doctor
Prescriptions and refills
Chronic disease counselling and management
Appointments can be booked directly over the phone by calling The Mustard Seed Wellness Centre at 587-393-4020 and requesting an appointment with an SRC clinician for Tuesday evening.
Phone appointments may also be requested by emailing email@example.com
The SRC consists of board members and an executive team, working towards to reduce barriers faced by Calgary’s underserved by bringing together a multidisciplinary team of students, professionals, and community leaders dedicated to providing equitable, quality wellness services and programming.
We are always looking for new opportunities to serve the underserved!
If you are interested in our clinic services, we will need a small office or private room in which to assess patients that has power and internet access. We would also require a representative from your organization to allow us into this space after hours.
If you are interested in the Wellness Workshops, we will need an open gathering space with a projector for PowerPoint presentations.
